Matrixyl 3000 HERO

Two peptides — palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl tripeptide-1. Peptides act as signals your skin reads as a cue to support its own structure. It's one of the few cosmetic ingredients with real clinical trials behind it, including split-face studies where one side got the peptide and the other got a placebo. Worth knowing: that research was done on faces. Body skin is thicker, so expect a more modest effect here.

Ceramide NP BARRIER

Ceramides are lipids your skin already makes. They're the mortar between skin cells, and they're what stops water escaping. You have fewer of them as you age, and that's a big part of why skin gets drier and rougher over time. Adding them back helps your skin hold onto moisture instead of losing it through the day.

Sodium Hyaluronate HYDRATION

The salt form of hyaluronic acid, with a smaller molecule size so it sinks in rather than sitting on top. It works by pulling water into the skin and holding it there. That's what makes dry, papery-looking skin look smoother and plumper. Apply while your skin is still slightly damp from the shower — it needs water to work with.

2 Pack firming body cream
I’ve been using this for a few weeks, and will update once I’ve finished the bottles, but here is my current opinions. First, and the main reason for the low score, this product does NOT go far. An 8oz bottle didn’t last long because you have to use so much to cover an area. Which is surprising, given that the lotion itself isn’t incredibly thick or pasty. It’s got a smooth texture and goes on no greasy. I do appreciate the moisturized feeling I have after using it, but I can’t attest to its firming qualities, as I haven’t noticed any changes there.
The scent is very mild and pleasant, no complaints there at all!
I also like that it is not a pump bottle, but a squeeze bottle. I feel like I’ll actually be able to get out all of the product.
Overall, I like the feel and way this moisturizer works. If I notice any changes in my skin tone after finished the 2 bottles, I would absolutely buy again.

Asterwood Firming Body Cream
I’ve been using the Asterwood Firming Body Lotion for a bit now, and overall it’s a solid everyday lotion. It’s fragrance-free, which I really appreciate since my skin is sensitive, but there is a light natural scent when you first apply it. It kind of reminds me of a classic, old school lotion smell, not bad at all, and it fades pretty quickly once it absorbs.
The texture is nice and smooth, and it sinks in without feeling greasy. My skin feels well moisturized and softer throughout the day, and with regular use it does seem to look a little more even and smooths out the alligator skin I get on my upper thighs.
